Circle of Excellence: Young Horizons

EveryChild California is proud to recognize Young Horizons the January 2020 recipient of the Circle of
Excellence award.

The Circle of Excellence is awarded to a member of EveryChild California who has supported the Associations' endeavors and has shown outstanding leadership within the ECE community.

Congratulations to Young Horizons and EveryChild Child Circle of Excellence recipient for January 2020.

Young Horizons began as the Foundation for Educational and Behavioral Therapy in 1967. We were incorporated October 28, 1969. These programs were operated under the supervision of our founder, Dr. Gerhard Kohn and his wife Irena, serving Los Angeles and Orange County. In 1984, we opened our first state-funded child development center in Long Beach serving the low-income families who so desperately needed our services. We have grown to 5 centers serving over 400 children in Long Beach.
Young Horizons is a nonprofit organization in Long Beach that provides low-income families free or low-cost child development programs for children ages 6 months to five years. Read the rest of Young Horizon's story by clicking here!
